George E. Swindells ‘55, Regent Emeritus of the University of Portland and a longtime institutional supporter, passed away Wednesday, September 26 at the age of eighty-five.

Katherine Phillips Durham ’88 and Brian Dexheimer ’84 are the two newest inductees into the Pamplin School of Business Hall of Fame. They join 11 other Hall of Fame members. The Hall of Fame was created 2009 when the Pamplin School of Business celebrated its 75th anniversary.

Businesswoman and philanthropist Elsie Franz Finley, sister of the late Robert “Bob” Franz, passed away on August 14th at the age of 97. A Memorial Mass will be held for her on Tuesday, September 18th, at 2:30 p.m., in the Chapel of Christ the Teacher on the University of Portland campus.
