Recognizing and Interrupting Microaggressions: Creating an Inclusive and Equitable Environment
In this facilitated session, participants worked to build common language around microaggressions and other social justice language and sought to understand some of the individual and systemic impacts of microaggressive behaviors. Participants spent some time exploring (and perhaps designing) strategies for how to interrupt microaggressions to create more inclusive environments. Andres Guzman from PSU Education was the facilitator.
