The Drug Free Schools and Communities Act (DFSCA) and Part 86 of the Department of Education’s General Administrative Regulations (Edgar Part 86) requires institutions of higher education to adopt and implement drug and alcohol abuse prevention programs for students and employees.
The University of Portland is committed to building a healthy campus community that promotes the well-being and success of all community members through education and prevention programs. This biennial review examines the effectiveness and impacts of drug and alcohol prevention programs and sanctions and assists in making recommendations or improvements for future programs.
