The University of Portland provides Wi-Fi network coverage throughout every building on campus. Different networks will be available based on user type.

UPStudent and UPStaff are the respective WiFi networks for students & faculty/staff. Log into these networks using your UP username and password.
Some devices (such as a gaming console or smart speaker) may not have access to a browser and must be manually registered and bypassed on our UPIoT network. If you are trying to connect a device other than a personal computer or phone, please see the UPIoT section of the Campus Wifi page, also linked above.
The WiFi network for visitors. Self-registration of mobile devices is required. Follow the instructions that appear on the web form in your browser. Access is granted for a 24 hour duration upon registration of your device, after which re-registration is required.
While WiFi is available in every dorm, some students may prefer to use a wired connection. If you would like to request activation of your dorm's network port, please fill out the Dorm Ethernet Port Activation form.
