University of Portland's Institutional Official is David Mengel, PhD, Provost.
As required by the PHS Policy on Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals, the IACUC meets at least every six months to review the University’s program for the humane care and use of animals to ensure UP is complying with all applicable standards and guidelines.
UP does not have any animal facilities on- or off-campus.
