The Military Ball dates back to 1775, to celebrate service members, honor military culture and promote esprit de corps.  Here at the University of Portland, Army and Air Force ROTC programs have put together this event to celebrate our cadets, staff, family, friends, faculty and community partners that support our programs throughout the year.

Also, we are hoping to raise funds that will be used for travel and accomodation expenses for cadets to participate in Staff Rides to an American Revolution, Civil War, World War I or World War II battlefield.    Click here for more information. 

Fall 2025 Military Ball

Date:  Friday, November 7th, 2025

Time:  5-9 PM

Place:  Beauchamp Recreation Center, University of Portland

Buffet choices:  

     * Coffee and chili rubbed flank steak with butternut squash

     * Seared salmon with huckleberry gastrique              

     * Aleppo pepper and maple glazed delicatta squash

Dress Code:  Military and Cadet is Formal; Civilian is Semi-Formal
